The Park is open for 10 months each year - the season starts on 1st March and ends on 2nd January. Please note the park is not residential.
We are members of the British Holiday & Home Parks Association and have
a 4 star Visit Britain Quality Assurance grading.
All makes of caravans and lodges must be purchased through the Ridgeway Country
Holiday Park Ltd.
The Park is situated in a wooded valley between Frodsham and Helsby hills,
east of Chester. It is bordered on one side by the Sandstone Trail, a 32 mile
walk that stretches across the Cheshire countryside. There are a number of
circular walks off the trail which are perfect for dog walking and also provide
excellent views of the Clwydian hills, the Cheshire plain, the River Mersey
and the Liverpool Skyline.
We are classified as a Peace and Quiet park, and as such do not have a Club
House, Bar, Children’s play area or Swimming pool etc. We therefore
tend to attract people looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of
everyday life. We welcome dogs and children to the park.
The market town of Frodsham has a cross-section of shops, banks, restaurants
and a variety of take-aways. Market day is Thursday. Our local pubs also provide
good food.
